Experience at XLIM
Reflections on my research internship at XLIM
XLIM? What is it? 🤔
The XLIM Research Institute is a joint research unit comprising over 400 faculty members, engineers, technicians, and doctoral students. It is a laboratory that drives numerous projects in fields such as electronics, optics, mathematics, computer science, and bioengineering.

What was my projet?
As part of his doctoral research, Maxime Bros—a PhD student at XLIM—hired two interns (myself included) to work on a project he is currently leading. My internship involved implementing cryptosystems based on linear algebra and finite fields, as well as developing algebraic attacks against them. Since he has not yet defended his thesis, I cannot reveal any further details at this stage. (But you will find out more when the time comes.) 😉
